Declaration of Independence

Of the Gaelic Kingdom of Mabruenia

When in times of crisis, it becomes neccessary for a people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth the seperate and equal station to which the laws of natures and of nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the seperation.

In recognition of the growing fractures in governance, institutional distrust, and cultural displacement in the years up to 2025, the people of Mabruenia assert their right to founding a nation grounded on true equality, liberty, and peace. We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all citizens are born equally free, endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, among these are the freedom to think, speak, associate, love, and live without fear of oppression, prejudice, or denial due to soley race, gender, sexuality, faith, or political belief.

Whereas governments and political institutions in other lands have too often betrayed these rights through discrimination, suppression of voices, arbitrary control, and structural bias: whereas the rights of women, minorities, and LGBTQ+ persons continue to be challenged; whereas many have found themselves silenced or excluded by structures built for privilege not for justice; and whereas the hope of self-governance, dignity and fair representation unmet for many across the world:

Therefore, we, the undersigned, by virtue of our sovereign claim under the lineage of the Clan Fleming and the royal tradition of the Scottish Throne, hereby declare that the Gaelic Kingdom of Mabruenia is, and of right ought to be, a free and independent state. It is no longer bound by the limitations of the past but stands as the living continuation of Scotland's heritage and the forward expression of a people committed to Liberty and Peace.

As a free nation, we ordain and establish this Declaration, pledging each other our lives, our fortunes, our sacred honor, and committing to build a society where justice, integrity, and oppurtunity flourish for all.
