Declaration of Sovereignity
Of the Gaelic Kingdom of Mabruenia
WHEREAS, the people of Mabruenia, being of sound mind and united by a shared vision of
self-determination, do hereby assert their inherent right to govern themselves; WHEREAS, Mabruenia
meets the fundamental criteria for statehood as established by the Montevideo Convention

Montevideo Convention (1933) , possessing a permanent population, a defined territory, a
functioning government, and the capacity to enter into relations with other states;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND PROCLAIMED THAT:
- SUPREME AUTHORITY: The government of Mabruenia is the sole and ultimate
authority over its defined territory and all internal affairs. No external power or
jurisdiction is recognized within our borders without the explicit consent of this
government.
- 2. TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY: We claim absolute sovereignty over the territory
described as the land within Las Cruces, New Mexico. This territory shall remain
inviolable and subject to only the laws of Mabruenia.
- 3. POPULAR WILL: This declaration is founded upon the principle of popular sovereignty,
wherein all governing power is derived from the will of the citizens of Mabruenia.
- 4. INTERNATIONAL STANDING: As a free and independent sovereign nation,
Mabruenia possesses the full power to conclude treaties, establish commerce, contract
alliances, and perform all other acts and things which independent nations may of right
do.
- 5. NOTICE TO THE WORLD: We hereby give formal notice to all surrounding states
and the international community of our existence and our intent to maintain peaceful and
respectful relations based on mutual recognition of sovereignty.
